The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration said the embassies of Moldova in Spain and Portugal are in touch with the authorities of the two states so as to determine if the victims of this morning’s train accident in the Spanish province of Galicia do not include Moldovans. The train belonged to a Portuguese company, IPN reports.

At least two persons died and several others were hurt after a train crashed at O Porriño station in the north-western province of Galicia, as local intervention services reported, quoted by Reuters online. Railway traffic in the area was suspended.
