PG to decide whether young man suspected of October 14 grenade attack will be arrested

The Prosecutor General’s Office (PG) today will decide whether to arrest the young man suspected of committing the grenade attack on October 14 or not. Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubko told the reporters that the decision will be taken after a meeting of the prosecutors and prosecuting officers set to take place this morning, Info-Prim Neo reports. Valeriu Zubko said that the police are also examining other persons, but avoided giving names. He did not provide other information about the given case so as not to affect the development of the investigation. The young man suspected of the October 14 grenade attack was detained for a period of 72 hours. The term expires today. Forty-two persons were injured in the grenade explosion in the Great National Assembly Square on Chisinau’s Day.
