The Prosecutor General's Office (PG) is investigating cases of irregularities committed in the privatization of the property of the state or of the territorial-administrative units during the last nine years, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the PG's press office.
The PG said it has received many complaints about the illegalities committed during 2000-2009 from public servants, parliamentarians and ordinary people. They inform about the illegal management of public property and the concession of public property by the state. Thus, the PG decided to examine the given cases.
The Ministry of Economy is to provide the list of patrimonial complexes, companies and institutions and information about shares in the commercial organizations included in the privatization program, privatization methods and prices. It will also give information about the national or foreign companies that participated in the preparation of the privatization projects and in the restructuring of companies.
