Petrocub announced the signing of contracts with lateral fullbacks Gheorghe Brînzaniuc and Alexandru Vacarciuc. They are both 19 and are pupils of the Zimbru school, IPN reports.
Alexandru Vacarciuc played 23 matches in the National Division. Gheorghe Brînzaniuc played by one match fewer, but scored a goal in the encounter with Sfîntul Gheorghe.
The team trained by Lilian Popescu also signed 19-year-old Nigerian striker Miracle Chinaza Nwautobo. The contracts are valid for a period of four years.
Petrocub ranks second in the National Division after 21 stages with 49 points. Sheriff leads with 55 points. The national football championship resumes on February 20.
