The police arrested the person who fired a pneumatic gun at an ambulance on Dacia Blvd. in Chisinau’s Botanica district. Chisinau Police Division deputy head Silviu Musuc Monday said the gun was confiscated, IPN reports.
The culprit suffers from mental disorders and was admitted to the Chisinau Psychiatric Hospital.
The incident happened on the night of February 24. The bullet penetrated a lateral window of the vehicle, on the driver’s side. The doctor and his assistant went to provide medical care to a patient, while the driver went out of the car for some frees air and this saved him. The bullet passed near his ear and stopped in the window, which broke up.
