The use of pyrotechnical materials in rooms was banned and the checks of the anti-fire equipment in cafes, clubs, cultural and education institutions in the Transnistrian region have been stepped up so as to prevent tragedies similar to last week’s incident in the Russian town of Perm, Info-Prim Neo’s correspondent in Tiraspol reports. A special anti-fire commission will be created in Tiraspol. It will include representatives of all the local services. The sale of fireworks in Tiraspol will be under strict control. The articles considered dangerous will be withdrawn from sale. The use of pyrotechnical materials in rooms and at distances within 50 meters from schools and crowded places was banned. The 354 fires that happened in the Transnistrian capital this year caused seven deaths. The number of fires usually increases in the cold season, especially during the winter holidays.
