The period during which young specialists employed in the educational system will enjoy employment benefits from the government will be extended from three to five years, under an amendment to the Education Code adopted today by Parliament.
The size of allowances for young specialists will also increase. In particular, graduates of higher education institutions will receive allowances of 200,000 lei, compared to 120,000 lei before. In the case of young people who graduated from technical vocational education institutions, allowances are increasing from 96,000 lei to 160 thousand lei.
Additionally, young specialists employed in rural and district educational institutions will enjoy rent and energy bill relief for a period of five years.
