People who transfer money to flood victims' accounts will not be charged for this service

The persons who will transfer money to the bank accounts opened to raise funds for flood victims by mail will not pay charges for this service, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology. ICT Minister Alexandru Oleinic ordered that the commission charged by Moldova's Post Office for this service be annulled. The following taxes are charged for transferring money by mail inside the country: fixed registration charge – 6 lei; value tax – 3% (up to 1,000 lei) and 30 lei plus 1% of the sums of over 1,000 lei (more than 1,000 lei) Here is the bank account opened by the Government to help the flood victims.
