The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service warns the people to be attentive to the icicles that formed under eaves as they pose a threat when falling. The sidewalks in front of buildings are the most dangerous areas, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the Service.
According to doctors, a detached icicle can cause serious head injuries that can lead to disability or even death. Therefore, the pedestrians should keep away from buildings, especially the multistory ones.
