The persons that suffer from chronic hepatitis will benefit partially from compensated drugs for the treatment of this disease. According to the press service of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, three preparations of common international name for the people suffering from chronic hepatitis were included in the list of drugs partially compensated from the Obligatory Health Insurance Funds. The preparations contain the active substance Silymarinum, Acidum ursodeoxycholicum and Propanololum. Twelve names of drugs are available in the drugstores from Moldova. The compensated drugs will be administered by the family doctor and bought in pharmacies that concluded a contract with the National Health Insurance Company. Information about these chemist’s shops, as well as the list of compensated drugs, can be received in the medical institution or at the family doctor that issue the prescription. The compensated sum is different for each name of drug, depending on the dose and number of pills. The patient pays in the chemist’s shop only the difference between the retail price of the drug and the compensated sum. The list of the medicines partially compensated from the Obligatory Health Insurance Funds comprises at present 15 preparations. Other 12 preparations are for people suffering from arterial hypertension and cardiac insufficiency syndrome.
