The People Power Party can start its election campaign now that the Central Election Commission registered it as a runner in the July 11 snap parliamentary elections, approving its list of 57 candidates and the electoral symbol that will be put on the ballot, IPN reports.

The party’s president Ruslan Codreanu said the party’s team does not come to divide and to build an image by throwing mud at someone. They aim to develop an educated and informed society where the people are respected collectively and individually. This is not possible when there are only speculations, accusations and division around.

According to Ruslan Codreanu, the pandemic showed that alongside the health system, the education system is also vulnerable. The pandemic accentuated the venerability of children, while the education system left many of them behind. The quality of everyone’s knowledge decreased, but the children from families in needed were hit the worst. “We will struggle for all the children to be heard as they all must have opportunities,” he stated.

The People Power Party was founded on March 18, 2021.
