People found stabbed, hanged in their homes

A woman was attacked by a group of unknown persons that broke into her house. Managing doctor of the Chisinau Emergency Service Anatol Proca told Info-Prim Neo the unknown attackers wore sunglasses, hats and gloves. On Monday, at 9.00, they broke into victim’s house on Calea Orheiului Street and cut her neck with a knife. Nonetheless, she managed to call the ambulance after they left. Fortunately, the knife didn’t cut any major blood vessel. The woman is receiving treatment in the Emergency Hospital, while the police are investigating the case. A 26-year-old man was found hanged in his house in Durlesti town. His friends worried as he had been missing for a day and forced the door. They found him dead. Two men, workers at Delfin market on Alba Iulia Street, suffered some traumas. The first, 55-year-old, was working on a roof when he slipped and fell 5 meters to the ground and got a brian concussion. The second one, aged 33, suffered an incised wound of his left shoulder after being hit by a roofing slate. Both of them were hospitalized. Over the last 24 hours, ambulances in Chisinau responded to 834 calls. Overall, they registered 80 traumas, 54 viral infections, 8 strokes and 2 heart attacks.
