The people who protest are motivated to do it and exercise their constitutional right this way. Such an opinion was stated in the program “Moldova live” on the public TV channel “Moldova 1”, IPN reports.
Mihai Godea, chairman of the Democratic Action Party, said it is normal for the people to protest. “I see nothing unordinary in this. It’s clear that the people struggle for power, but I see no problem in this. However, what happened in the evening of January 20 exceeds the limits of democracy. The protest organizers should assume responsibility,” he stated.
Political analyst Ion Tabarta also considers that the people exercise their constitutional right. “The people have the right to protest. Nobody can say what’s better – early elections or perpetuation of the same government. The way in which the politicians acted only stirred things up,” he said.
Corneliu Ciurea, expert of the Institute for Development and Social Initiatives “Viitorul”, considers the early parliamentary elections are dangerous. “The early elections are a trap that is thoroughly prepared by Moscow,” he stated.
