On April 1 the pensions will rise by 6.45%. As a result, the old-age pension will be by 67 lei higher on average, the disability pension – by 53 lei, the successor’s pension – by 35 lei, while the pension of participants in the Chernobyl cleanup – by 143 lei, IPN reports, quoting the data presented by the Government.
The minimum pension of persons who worked in agriculture will be 710 lei, while of the other recipients of old-age pension - 798 lei. The pension for the first disability degree will be 567 lei, for the second disability degree – 548 lei, while for the third disability degree – 386 lei.
Only the part of the pension paid from the state social insurance budget will be increased for MPs, members of the Government, local elected officials, public servants, prosecutors, some categories of culture employees and customs officers.
A sum of over 400 million lei was budgeted for these purposes.
