Pedestrians struck by taxis in Chisinau

A young man and a girl were hospitalized after they had been hit by taxis on Chisinau streets, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Spokeswoman for the Traffic Police Division Dana Andronic said one of the accidents happened on Sarmizegetusa St at about 10pm. A 15-year-old girl was struck by a taxi of the 1415 service.
A man aged 20 was hit by a taxi of the 1477 service at the intersection of the streets Pushkin and Columna in about an hour. He suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma, a concussion and fracture of the parietal bone.
The same day, a Dacia-Logan driven by a 14-year-old boy skidded and went into a tree. The teen was rushed to the hospital. In Calarasi district, a car skidded on the icy road and overturned in a ditch. The driver aged 27 suffered different traumas.
Nine persons were hurt in road accidents in Moldova on Wednesday and on Thursday night.
