A 65-year-old man was hit fatally by a car on Calea Mosilor St in Chisinau. He died on the spot.
Aurelia Mija, PR inspector of the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened on March 21 at about 7pm, not far from the market “Calea Basarabiei”. The pedestrian was struck by a BMW driven by a 27-year-old man, who said he did not see the jaywalking man. An investigation is under way.
