About 11 thousand square meters of pedestrian pavement were restored in Cupcini town, Edinet district, with the support of German partners. Pavement provides the city's residents with safe access to schools, hospitals and other public institutions.

The festive opening of "Paving the pedestrian paths" project in Cupcini will take place on Wednesday, November 27. The event will also be attended by Ambassador Angela Ganninger, says a press release of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Chisinau, quoted by IPN.

The total value of the project is of 249.7 thousand euros, of which 150 thousand euros from the sources of German taxpayers made available by the German Development Bank.

Germany has supported the Republic of Moldova since 1993 with over 300 million euros. The purpose of this assistance is to improve people's living conditions, especially in rural areas.
