Pedestrian injured fatally by vehicle

A 41 year old inhabitant of the capital was fatally injured in the Rascani district. According to the Traffic Police, the pedestrian was trying to jay-walk. The police are yet to establish whether the 29 year old driver was drunk or not before he got in front of the wheel and the actual speed of his car, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Two wheel carts were hit by car, one in the Colibas village, Cahul district, and another in the Gherman village, Ungheni district. As a result 3 men and 1 woman were hospitalized with diverse injuries.
On October 14, in Moldova occurred 9 car accidents with victims and 43 without. The traffic agents fined 17 drunk drivers, 45 with unfastened seatbelts and 78 speedsters.
