Journalist Nicolae Federiuc believes that the Democratic Party’s decision to withdraw from government is a wise one. According to him, a very difficult situation was created, that could explode at any moment and that could have had a hard to assess impact . Statements made during the "Țaraf” (Country) programme on the Vocea Basarabiei (Voice of Bessarabia) TV station, IPN reports.

"I believe that the Democratic Party had the necessary maturity to take a step back and defuse this " bomb ". I hope that after this decision tensions will fall, society will calm down, and the march that they planned for Sunday will be cancelled (i.e that of ACUM and PSRM), because I for one do not see its point at this time”, says Nicolae Federiuc.

In his opinion, everyone should understand that it was a very violently confrontational stage that is not favorable for Moldovan society and people must have the wisdom it takes to avoid clashes. "The hard part is just beginning. Probably many surprises are just to come. We still do not know, we have an equation with many unknowns around this juncture, "said the journalist.

Valentin Dolganiuc, MP of the first Parliament, believes that PDM’s withdrawal from power comes naturally. Commenting on the alliance between PSRM and ACUM, Valentin Dolganiuc believes that "it was made based on arrangements with the Russian Federation".

The former deputy also added that in order to build a democratic state, the next that has to withdraw is president Igor Dodon. In his opinion, he "is obligated to do this because there are grounds to initiate criminal proceedings for the alleged financing [of the electoral campaign] of the Russian Federation". Valentin Dolganiuc also said that "the head of state’s frequent visits to Moscow end with money being brought to Moldova through the green corridor".
