The National Council of the PDM voted for the formation of a center-right alliance. The party's president Marian Lupu told the reporters that 201 of the 228 members attending the meeting voted in favor of reconstituting the Alliance for European Integration, Info-Prim Neo reports. “There were discussed three options – to form a center-left coalition with the PCRM, to form a center-right coalition, and to form no coalition. Most of the members of the National Council chose the second option,” the Democratic leader said. Marian Lupu also said that this is the decision of the PDM's National Council and the party's administration will implement it as it happens within a really democratic party. “We are yet to decide if we will sign the agreement on the formation of the alliance with the PLDM and PL. The final decisions will be taken in the Parliament's sitting,” Marian Lupu said. The first sitting of the new legislative body will continue on Thursday at 4pm. The MPs are to announce the formation of a government coalition and to elect the Speaker.
