The vice president of the Democratic Party Vladimir Cebotari announced the main tasks of the new ministers who will be in charge of healthcare and agriculture. According to him, among the goals is to make sure that the people are heard and that the area development paces are steady, IPN reports.

“We want particular things at these ministries that are very close to the people to stand differently. The people should be heard and the doctors’ attitude should be better and greater efforts should be made to raise the doctors‘ and teachers’ salaries. These are some of the new responsibilities of Silvia Radu, who is to take up the post of minister of health, labor and social protection. We would like particular primary and hospital medical assistance information systems to be put into operation so as to bring those savings and benefits as regards the quality of services provided for the people,” Vladimir Cebotari stated in the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel.

As regards agriculture, the politician said one of the goals here is to step up the measures so as to bring the necessary modernization and to ensure the building of the proper quality infrastructure so that the Moldovan agricultural products reach the shelves of stores in the EU. The current ministers performed their duties and the new set tasks are to be carried out by other persons.

Jurist Pavel Midrigan said the changes made in the Cabinet should have been announced by Prime Minister Pavel Filip, not by the leader of the Democratic Party. There is a difference between the notions of party and power even if the power in Moldova is now represented mainly by the PDM. These ministers are paid with state budget funds, not with party funds and they should serve society.
