The Democratic Party (PDM) calls on its members and sympathizers to come to the protest that is to be mounted in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau on December 6 so as to defend the vote of those who want a different kind of politics, the party’s leader Pavel Filip stated after the common meeting of the PDM Executive Bureau and the heads of the party’s local organizations, IPN reports.

“The Democratic Party of Moldova notes that we have witnessed full anarchy in Parliament the past few days. A monstrous creature appeared and this flouted the law, the Constitution and common sense. A creature that managed to do what it seemed unbelievable – to bring the thieves of billions to power. It is defiance of the people and the country to deride this nation and the country’s politics in general in such a way,” stated the leader of the PDM.

According to him, besides the anti-social projects and the criminal schemes, this monstrous coalition managed to destroy the relations with the two strategic partners, the U.S. and the EU.

Pavel Filip also said that it is not clear what conclusions the Socialists drew from the results of the presidential elections, but it is clear that the people voted for changes, for a different type of politics as they do not went thieves in power. “This vote should be defended. Dear members and supporters of the PDM, dear friends, I urge you to come to the Square to defend the vote of those who want a different kind of politics. If you were disgusted by the anarchy witnessed in Parliament, if you do not want thieves in power, we should take to the streets and say this clearly so that they hear this too,” said the Democratic leader.

He called upon the people to obey the sanitary measures at the protest, including to wear face masks and to maintain social distancing.
