The Democratic Party (PDM) proposed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration should be divided into two ministries in the new Government. The party’s leader Marian Lupu told the journalists that 80% of the issues concerning the European integration are now related to the internal affairs, IPN reports.

The Democratic leader said this proposal was submitted during the negotiations held by the former components of the ruling alliance. According to Lupu, there are very good diplomats, but the European integration does not concern only the dialogue between Chisinau and Moscow.

“The European integration means determined efforts in all the areas: economy, society, European standards and functionality norms,” said the head of the PDM.
