The Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) kicked off its election campaign with the slogan “Deeds, not words!” “We start an election campaign that is very important not only for us, but also for the Democratic Party’s team. It is an important campaign for the country because the keeping of order, political stability and economic growth in Moldova depends on this campaign. Or Moldova could fall into chaos, anarchy, degeneracy and poverty,” stated the party’s president Vlad Plahotniuc.

According to the politician, the Democratic Party during three years of work managed to do more than all the previous governments together. “We built new roads all over the country, raised pensions and salaries and offered assistance and compensations to those in need. We launched the program “First House” and did many good things that we will continue to do in 2019 and the coming years,” noted Vlad Plahotniuc.

The leader of the PDM called on all the candidates involved in the electoral race, no matter what parties they represent, to refrain from fakes, provocations and manipulations, to show respect for all the electoral contenders and to allow the voters to decide freely.

Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu, vice president of the PDM, said the party’s team knows very well how to mobilize, knows to take the best decisions and to come up with the best solutions. The PDM’s team is the one with which every citizen can identify oneself, regardless of ethnicity or spoken language, as the party pursues a pro-Moldova policy.

Prime Minister Pavel Filip, first vice president of the PDM, noted the party’s commitments for the next few years are not simple promises, but a natural continuation of the things done so far. “What we said and did is actually the biggest guarantee that our promises for the next four years will be delivered,” stated the official.

The Democratic Party is under No. 1 on the ballot for the parliamentary elections in the national constituency according to the preliminary order decided by draw, IPN reports.
