Those who are older than 65 and cannot cultivate their land, can lease it out. Besides the rent, the elderly people will also receive by 1,000 lei per ha from the state, which will be like the second pension.

The Democrats intend to set up at least 100 animal-breeding farms with money from the animal-breeding subsidization fund, to guarantee the bank loans taken out by farms with up to 10 ha, to pay the interest rates on loans of up to 1 million lei released to agriculture during a year, to justly compensate the farmers for the losses sustained as a result of drought, floods, export bans and drop in prices.

For the purpose, they will receive information and financial support from the state,” said the Democrats.
