If the opposition comes to power, we will return to the period of political chaos and instability when foreign investors will flee the country or will not come, the head of the electoral staff of the Democratic Party (PDM) was quoted by IPN as saying in a press beefing.
Vladimir Cebotari said the PDM during the next few days will be more insistent in promoting the party’s electoral message for the February 24 elections. If the PDM does not come to power, there is a risk that a lot of the projects that were announced or are under implementation will not be completed.
The head of the PDM’s electoral staff also said that the opposition parties in electoral debates say that they know where to pay the salaries and pensions raised by the Democratic Party from. “They do not have the capacity and solutions to continue the repair of roads or implement other projects we launched and for which we have financial resources,” stated Vladimir Cebotari.
As to the bills for which the Government assumed responsibility earlier this week, including those that refer to salary rises, Vladimir Cebotari said no motion was introduced into Parliament so that the given bills will come into force immediately. If President Igor Dodon refuses to promulgate them, they will request the Constitutional Court to launch the procedure for suspending the President from office.
