The Democratic Party (PDM) and the Party of Socialists (PSRM) consider the destabilization of the situation at political level is noxious and counterproductive given the crisis experienced in healthcare and the economy. In a press release, the two ruling parties say the parliamentary majority is surprised at the actions and statements of particular politicians who grew up politically on the billion theft and corruption subjects and today see no problem in allying themselves with those who were behind those wrongdoings that were criticized also by the development partners, IPN reports.
The parties noted that despite the attempts to destabilize the situation in the country, the parliamentary majority continues to support the Government appointed in November 2019. The two parties discussed the lifting of the state of emergency, annulment of restrictions and the latest changes on the political arena.
The PDM and PSRM said they will continue to support the Government that mainly fulfills the undertaken commitments.
In the May 11 meeting, the parliamentary majesty was informed about the Government’s intention to renegotiate the lending agreement with the Russian Federation. The MPs underlined the necessity of identifying new sources of financing. In this regard, there were discussed the conditions imposed by the European Union for providing the second tranche of the macro-financial assistance. The communiqué says the sides reiterated their readiness to fulfill these conditions as a matter of urgency.
