The administration of the PCRM may be taken over by the only influential group that remained in the Communist Party – the group led by Mark Tkachuk, MP Igor Dodon, who recently left the PCRM, anticipated, Info-Prim Neo reports. “It is not right to give verdicts on this party. There is a strong probability that Vladimir Voronin will continue to head the PCRM, but it is also possible that the only influential group that remained in this party, that of Tkachuk, will take over,” Igor Dodon said in an online program. According to Dodon, there have always been battles inside the PCRM, as in any other party. “Until now, Vladimir Voronin showed wisdom and maintained a balance between all these groups. The balance has lately inclined towards one side. Only Tkachuk’s group now remained in the party. I assume that this group will decide they no longer need Voronin at a certain moment,” said Igor Dodon. During the last few years, the Communist parliamentary group was left by Marian Lupu, Vladimir Turcan, Victor Stepaniuc, Ludmila Belchenkova, Valentin Guznac, and now by Igor Dodon, Zinaida Greceanyi and Veronica Abramchuk.
