PCRM will not support center-right coalition's candidate for Speaker

Communist leader Vladimir Voronin, before Thursday's sitting of Parliament, told the press that he does not know about the formation of an alliance and that their decision as regards the voting in of the Speaker depends on the candidate that will be proposed, Info-Prim Neo reports. Communist lawmaker Igor Dodon said the parliamentary group of the PCRM will not support the candidate for Head of Parliament put forward by the center-right alliance. Igor Dodon said it is good that Moldova enters the New Year with certain clarity, but, in his opinion, there was formed an alliance that does not have many chances of being successful. He also said that the PCRM made everything possible to form a center-left alliance, while the PDM's decision shows that this party is not a center-left, but rather a pro-Liberal one.
