The Communist Party said now that the long-awaited even in Moldovan society – the dismemberment of the Alliance for European Integration – took place, the dismissal of Head of Parliament Marian Lupu, First Deputy Speaker Vlad Plahotniu and of all those who hid the shooting in the Domneasca Forest should be hastened, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the PCRM. Conditions should be created for restoring the rule of law and the functioning of the democratic institutions, said the PCRM. “Only this way will Moldovan society get rid of the incompetence of the Government and the prosecution authorities,” reads the communiqué. According to the PCRM, after March 16, 2012, when the parliamentary majority elected Nicolae Timofti as President of Moldova, the authorities started to usurp the power. “The prosecutors, courts, security services and the mass media are in the hands of several individuals who consider that they are above the law,” it is said in the communiqué. The Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) withdrew from the agreement on the formation of the Alliance for European Integration on February 13. Several hours before this announcement, the leader of the PDM Marian Lupu said that if the PLDM votes together with the PCRM in Parliament, the alliance will break up.
