PCRM rising, PLDM falling, PDM and PL remain stable, poll

If parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, PCRM would poll 34.1% of the votes, PLDM 16.8%, PDM 11.9% and PL 6.6%. These are the results of an IMAS survey conducted between December 10 and 23. According to IMAS director Doru Petruti, PCRM’s popularity has increased since the last polls, while PLDM’s has dropped. PL and PDM have gone through ups and downs, Info-Prim Neo. According to the poll, the number of undecided people is growing and reached 22.5%. The percentage of those who wouldn’t vote is 4.7%. The Party of Socialists and the National-Liberal Party would each obtain 1%. PPCD would get 0.7%, PSD 0.4% and PAD 0.3%. The question “What do you think about the following parties” showed that 41% of respondents have a good opinion about PCRM, 30% like PLDM, 25% PDM and only 21% PL. As to whether who is the best candidate for president’s office, 21% of respondents named Democrat leader Marian Lupu. He is followed by Vladimir Voronin with 13% and Vlad Filat with 8%. Zinaida Greceanii has the support of 3% of respondents. Vlad Filat is the most popular choice for prime minister with 28%. Igor Dodon and Marian Lupu have 6% and 3% respectively. Over half of the respondents were unable to pick a politician for prime minister. The “Social-political round-up of 2011” poll was commissioned by www.politik.md. It was conducted on a sample of 1109 people from 75 selected localities. The error margin of sampling is ±3.0%.
