PCRM puts forward candidate for head of state

The Communist Party (PCM) has fielded its candidate for the presidency. According to the party’s head Vladimir Voronin, Zinaida Greceanyi is the most suitable candidate for the post of President, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the website of Publika TV channel. “It’s not worth supporting a candidate proposed by the Alliance for European Integration because its leaders hadn’t done much for the country during two years,” said Vladimir Voronin. Until now, the PCRM backed the idea of fielding a politically unaffiliated candidate, but did not submit proposals. Zinaida Greceanyi was the PCRM’s candidate for head of state after the April 5, 2009 elections as well.
