The Party of Communists proposes to fine institutions, as well as individuals, who spread public information that may have a negative impact on children. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, in order to elaborate on what kind of information they are referring to, author of the legislative initiative MP Sergiu Sirbu gave the gay parades as an example. The MP proposes that these subjects be avoided on TV before 10pm. The provisional fines are of 80-100 conventional units (1600-2000 lei) for individuals, 100-200 c.u. (2000-4000 lei) for people with high-ranking jobs, and 200-300 c.u. (4000-6000 lei) for legal entities. According to the MP, the media displays obscene imagery, which affects the children’s psychology, negatively influences their physical, psychological and moral integrity.
