The Communists Party of Moldova (PCRM) intends to win over 50% of the vote in the November 28 elections and is ready to form post-electoral alliances with those who will support its government program, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In a news conference on Tuesday, the party's leader Vladimir Voronin said the Alliance for European Integration can be considered an opponent of the entire Moldovan society, rather than of the PCRM.
“We see no difference between the parties that now govern the country. They together appointed Mihai Ghimpu and constituted the Government. These parties increased the charges and usurped the state power after March 9, 2010,” Vladimir Voronin said.
Speaking about the foreign policy plans, Vladimir Voronin said Moldova must be there where there are its interests and the foreign policy course – either towards East or towards West - does not count. “The Moldovan products, especially the wines, fruit and vegetables, are in demand on the CIS market. It would be a mistake to abandon this market,” the Communist leader said.
The PCRM was registered as an election contender and will take the 12th position in ballots.
