The Moldovan Communists will initiate the formation of an anti-crisis left-wing coalition, Vladimir Voronin said at the plenary meeting of the PCRM on Saturday, RIA Novosti reports on its website, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The PCRM leader stressed that they will not discuss with the Alliance for European Integration, but with separate parties. “Our aim is to hold a dialogue with the forces that want to join the patriotic coalition.”
Vladimir Voronin said that the parties that form the Alliance stick together because they are lured by promises by forces from the West. He added that these forces aim to damage the Moldovan-Russian relations and to transform Moldova into the second Georgia and deprive it of neutrality.
The Alliance for European Integration holds 53 of the 101 seats of MP.
The journalists were not allowed to enter the Palace of the Republic, where the meeting of the Communists takes place, except several cameramen from TV channels considered loyal to the power.
