PCRM maintains elections were rigged

The Communists Party (PCRM) preserves its position that the November 28 early legislative elections had been massively rigged, the party’s jurist, MP Sergiu Sarbu said after the Constitutional Court confirmed the legality of the parliamentary elections and validated the 101 seats of MP, Info-Prim Neo reports. “In the electoral process, we identified hundreds of violations of the electoral legislation and thus consider that the elections were fixed. The only problem is that we did not have the possibility of proving serious electoral frauds like multiple voting as the electoral bodies and the courts deprived us of it,” said Sergiu Sarbu. The Communist MP also said that the PCRM will request the Prosecutor’s Office to hold accountable the persons who are to blame for every case of multiple voting. On December 24, the Constitutional Court validated the election outcome and the seats of the newly elected MPs.
