The assumption by the Government of political responsibility for 11 bills before Parliament shows that the administration is unable to organize an efficient, constitutional and legal legislative work and that there is no political will to adopt laws that are of major economic and social importance for society, says a press statement issued by the Communist parliamentary group, quoted by IPN.

The Communists consider that this is an electoral trick, a method of usurping the state power. During two months, Parliament did no legislative work, but lately had a very tight program and an agenda with over 70 bills for two days. “We cannot speak about particular quality especially when obscure provisions are included to satisfy group or party interests. Facing a competition of intentions, the parliamentary majority was unable to decide, being shaken by reciprocal accusations, blackmail, settling of accounts and games played behind the scene,” reads the statement.

The Communists say that during the current parliamentary session they submitted a series of initiatives and motions, but none of them was supported. The citizens will assess the current government on November 30 and the decisions taken on the elections day will allow Moldova to overcome the profound and systemic political crisis experienced over the last five years. Only the parliamentary elections will be able to bring the disorder and chaos in the country to an end.
