A Government that would manage the country in the interests of the people should be formed, while the MPs, regardless of their political orientation, must work together to help break the deadlock. Such statements were made by representatives of the Party of Communists after having consultations to identify a candidate for premiership with President Nicolae Timofti, IPN reports.
The head of the Communist parliamentary group Violeta Ivanov said the political and socioeconomic crisis is now at its height and the Communists consider that regardless of the political color, all the lawmakers must look for solutions to help the population overcome the difficult situation in which they are now that the prices and tariffs increased.
MP Artur Reshetnicov said the PCRM earlier also stated that the serious situation in the country is due to the poor governance since 2009. The PCRM told the head of state not to divide the people into ‘ours’ and ‘yours’ and urged him to identify a professional Cabinet that would work for the benefit of the Moldovan people.
The Communist lawmakers avoided saying if they take part in the negotiations to form a parliamentary coalition together with the Democrats, the Liberals and the unaffiliated MP of Iurie Leanca’s group.
