“Down with dictatorship! Down with the alliance! Let's keep the Communist symbols!”. These are the slogans chanted by activists of the Communist Party (PCRM), who Thursday gathered in front of the Palace of the Republic half an hour before the first sitting of the Parliament's spring-summer session, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The party's leader Vladimir Voronin condemned the initiative to ban the Communist symbols put forward by lawmakers of the ruling alliance. Those who delivered speeches in front of the people who came together said that such an act represents discrimination and dictatorship.
The activists and sympathizers of the PCRM said the Alliance for European Integration is to blame for the political and economic crisis in Moldova, with Marian Lupu behaving like a pupil of Mihai Ghimpu who, according to them, is a supporter of fascism.
