Some 54% of the persons working in the information and communications sector in September received a salary of over 10,000 lei and only 6% got a salary of 2,000 to 4,000 lei. The public food and accommodation sector is at the other pole as only 5% of the employees there got a monthly pay of over 10,000 lei, while 50% were paid 2,000 to 4,000 lei, IPN reports.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, salaries higher than 10,000 lei are paid to 40% of the employees working in the financial and insurance sectors and to 24% of those working in the public administration and defense sector.
Pays of 2,000 to 4,000 lei in September were collected by 45% of the employees of the arts, recreational activities and administrative services sectors, 43% of those working in the real estate transactions sector and 42% of those working in agriculture, forestry and fishing.
Salaries lower than 2,000 lei were paid to 3% of the employees of the arts and recreational activities sector, 2% of those working in education and by 1% of those working in such sectors as public administration and defense, professional, scientific and technical activities, real estate transactions, agriculture, forestry and fishing.
