The employees of public health facilities included in the mandatory health insurance system will have their salaries raised by 15% on average as from October, IPN reports.
The medical personnel will also benefit from a bonus of over 15% for night shifts. The Cabinet took such a decision following the approval of the “Bonus for Moldova” package.
The average pay of a doctor will rise from 17,344 lei to 19,945 lei, of a medical assistant – from 11,094 to 12,758 lei, while of a nurse – from 6,510 lei to 7,486 lei.
About 48,000 medical workers will benefit from pay raises.
