Pavel Prokudin was chosen as the head of the so-called executive of the Transnistrian region. This was proposed for the post by the Transnistrian leader Yevgheny Shevchuk and was accepted by the new composition of the self-styled supreme soviet of the region, IPN reports.
Pavel Prokudin was born and raised in Russia. The last post occupied by him was that of director of the memorial complex “Cetatea Tighina” (“Tighina Fortress”). Over the last few years, he dealt with projects to renovate and preserve the Tighina Fortress.
After the head of the so-called Transnistrian executive Tatiana Turanskaya tendered her resignation, the composition of the supreme soviet was changed almost fully.
