Prime Minister Pavel Filip will pay a visit to the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, on September 15-17 in order to take part in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press office, within the visit the Premier will have a series of bilateral meetings with CIS Heads of State to discuss topical subjects for the Republic of Moldova and possibilities of developing the diplomatic relations, including the commercial-economic ones.
Moldova joined the CIS in 1991. The Commonwealth consists of 11 states. The CIS presidency this year is held by Kyrgyzstan.
