The reformation of the Democratic Party of Moldova is based on Democratic actions that the incumbent leader of the party Pavel Filip says are the most solid ones. The ex-Premier noted the new vice presidents were chosen democratically by the party members.
“I offered the party members an algorithm, nine areas of responsibility that are similar to the nine ministries in our Cabinet, so that each of the vice presidents is responsible for one area and we form the shadow Cabinet of the PDM,” Pavel Filip stated in the talk show “Black Box” on TV8 channel.
Pavel Filip noted the members of the party proposed two-three candidates for each area and later voted for one person by secret ballot. These persons were proposed for vice presidents. The process was absolutely democratic, but he is not yet fully satisfied with the activity of the party he leads.
“If Mister Andronache or someone else won a majority of votes, I kept my word and I think it was a democratic process. I’m not yet satisfied with the activity of the Democratic Party, but I wasn’t the one who formed this team. The teams are formed in time. I have nothing to object to my party and parliamentary group mates,” stated Pavel Filip, who was asked if he was satisfied that Vladimir Andronachi became vice president of the PDM.
