Despite all the troubles and difficulties, Moldova managed to do several things that will make it stronger in 2017. This is the message transmitted by Prime Minister Pavel Filip in his address to the people on the occasion of the winter holydays, IPN reports.

The Premier said the salaries and pensions are not yet enough for decent living. The tariffs of public utilities do not yet match people’s revenues. The situation in hospitals remains precarious and the people are not motivated enough to return home from abroad. “But I want, before the New Year’s Eve, to transmit a feeling of hope. I know that you and your families are not fed on reforms and welfare does not come by slapping hands. It comes as a result of work, sacrifice and perseverance. But I assure you that I and my team are determined to do what is required for this welfare to reach each home, each table and the life of each citizen,” stated Pavel Filip.

“Have confidence in us. We do not promise lies and keep away of populism. We will do only what is necessary for Moldova to succeed and for the people to live better. Happy New Year, dear compatriots, with more hope and accomplishments! Let 2017 be slightly better for everyone so that you live in greater quietness and harmony,” he wished the people.
