The current political crisis in Moldova has a destabilizing potential for security in the region. This was discussed by acting prime minister Pavel Filip and Viktor Kryzhanovsky, Ukraine’s Special Representative for the Transnistrian settlement, during a meeting today.
According to a press release from the Filip Government, the interlocutors exchanged opinions about the current political situation in Moldova, and underlined the importance of maintaining constitutional order and the rule of law.
The two officials agreed that the solution to the current deadlock can be identified only by dialog among political forces, at the negotiating table.
