Prime Minister Pavel Filip, in the opening of the November 23 meeting of the Cabinet, informed that he goes to Brussels as head of a delegation at the beginning of next week, IPN reports.
“It is a very important visit. Ten months passed of the last visit so that we will be able to take stock of the accomplishments in this period on the path of European integration,” stated Filip
He also said that he will have meetings with the Presidents of the European Commission, Parliament and Council and with a number of European commissioners. The discussions will center on the investments in energy and other areas. A meeting was also planned with the NATO Secretary General.
“The message I will transmit in Brussels is that Moldova continues to implement the Association Agreement with the EU.
“The election period passed (…) We are a parliamentary republic. All the strategic decisions are adopted by Parliament. So, let’s keep calm,” stated the Premier.
