Education, road infrastructure and rule of law are three of the most important priorities of the Government for 2018, Prime Minister Pavel Filip stated in the program “Moldova live” on Moldova 1 channel. The Premier predicted that considerable progress in the three fields can be made this year, IPN reports.
As to the justice sector, Pavel Filip said a reform is being designed and this will be implemented this year and the results will be seen immediately. “The assessment of judges is the most important aspect and we should lay emphasis on the admission to the bar so as to see who enters this system,” he stated.
As regards education, the Premier said this sector should be a priority for the next governments. “The people are Moldova’s most important treasure. That’s why we should invest in education so that the human capacity could produce value added. There is high value added in industry, where a lot of knowledge is needed. That’s why the Republic of Moldova can inevitably have prospects only when we have a well-developed education system and will improve human capacity,” stated Pavel Filip.
Without a developed infrastructure, Moldova cannot bank on investments and development. “This year we will allocate more money for repairing and building roads. We will also focus on local roads as the road at people’s gates is important,” noted the Premier.
