The Public Services Agency announces that, starting today, all Moldovan citizens can get passports “without restrictions” and without presenting any confirmatory documents when applying for a passport under the urgent procedure.

The fee for a passport issued within the standard 20 workdays is 650 lei.

At the same time, citizens can apply for two passports at the same time or request a second one even if they already hold a valid one. Restrictions on the issuance of passports have been canceled under a resolution by the Commission for Emergencies.

Moldovan citizens can apply for a passport at any multifunctional center, regardless of place of domicile or residence, both based on prior appointments and in queue lines.

Appointments can be made using the PSA official page, at the multifunctional centers (by phone) or by calling the helpline 14909.

Through the MDelivery service, applicants may order passports to be delivered at any address inside or outside the country. MDelivery is available on the 5-, 10- or 20-day issuance options and is for a charge. The order can be tracked using a unique number on the MDelivery website www.mdelivery.gov.md.
