Passport of European projects in Moldova

The Center CONTACT is launching the passport of European projects implemented in Moldova, which will be distributed to ten settlements, IPN reports.

According to a press release of the Center, Briceni, Hancesti, Calarasi, Donduseni, Edinet, Telenesti, Ialoveni, Rascani, Ocnita and Straseni were involved in this event that forms part of the project “Campaign to inform and sensitize the public from the North and Centru regions about the impact and benefits of the European integration of the Republic Moldova”, which is supported by USAID. The brochures contains relevant pictures and information about the projects implemented in the ten 10 districts, with details about the source of financing and the budget.

A number of 22 public debates were staged by the Center CONTACT within the project in July – September. In ten districts, about 1,100 people were informed about the European integration process in Moldova and the related benefits and challenges. The debates involved representatives of the local public administration, educators, teachers, students, people working in the field of culture, experts, vocational school and college students and ordinary people.

Within the itinerant exhibitions, experts and facilitators of the Center told the participants about the creation and strengthening of the European Union and the values shared by the European citizens, the provisions of the Association Agreement and its importance for the social, economic and political spheres of the country.
